Follow these quick and easy ways to set yourself up for a Monday that looks like Friday:
Get prepared on Friday. Clean and clear off your desk. Especially when it’s your desk in your home office. I work from home and the temptation is always there to sneak in and do this or that. But resist or at least make it a minimum.
Have a good restful Sunday. This means not-a-social-media day. Too many women are using their Saturdays and/or Sundays to catch up on with their online accounts. You and your family deserve your undivided attention. Oh, and don’t feel guilty. This took some time for me!
Get up earlier than usual on Monday morning. Not only beat the rush but give yourself an extra 20 minutes of silence with your cup of java. Make this a time for reflection, prayer or mediation of everything you are grateful for.
My favorite: plan something special for some of your Monday evenings. Maybe a date night with that certain someone, an extra fun break from homework with the kids, or a much needed bath complete with candles. Do whatever brings a smile to your face and contentment to your heart! I‘m there with you!
