They pride themselves on taking care of their physical, emotional, mental and spiritual selves.Losing your energy on the surface happens to everyone. I am talking about the loss of energy from your reserves. After awhile, there’s nothing left. This is when stress sets in - the damaging kind that leads to disease. Actually, this type of stress is the leading cause of illness in the US. It’s important to identify your leading ‘energy drain’ business mistakes. Do you try to do it all? Does everything have to be perfect? Did you regret hiring a non-performing whiny relative? Are you in a job you hate – constantly driving you nuts? Guess what? All of this depletes your energy!

Well, it’s like this – if you spend 3 hours a day doing what could take 1.5 hours then you are wasting 1.5 hours that could be spent with loved ones or more effective business development. We all know the saying, ‘work faster, work smarter.’ But are you really putting that into practice? There was a time I didn’t believe that concept but I do now! If I can learn this so can you.

3. Your Focus. Know that each stage of your business has its own specific needs. What works in stage one doesn’t necessarily work at stage three. So, when you are at stage three why would you focus on items that were part of stage one? Because you have lost your focus.Are you searching for unrealistic business opportunities when you should be adding new products or services to expand your existing business? Are you wasting your precious attention on things that interns or staff should be doing? Or are you afraid to turn your focus to an urgent problem that needs solving? Hmm… procrastination - the deadly voice that says, ’It’ll get done later.” Another symptom of losing your focus.
